I took a large white piece of paper an placed it behind the flower (in my mom's backyard).
In camera, I underexposed it on purpose.
In photoshop, I desaturated it (made it black and white), then I did a few things like 'unsharpen mask' in the lab color (lightness channel), adjusted levels (for darker blacks), and added the slight vignette.
